3 June 2026
Bendigo Banks, Community Impact Night 3rd June 2026 saw over 90 local community groups represented in the room.
On Wednesday 3rd June we attended our first community impact night, hosted by Bendigo Bank Victoria Point & Wynnum Manly.
With over 90 of our fellow community groups in attendance and an absolute cracker of a speaker, we shared in the successes that Bendigo Bank has helped our community have. Plus the Bayside Community Fund Raffle Draw was drawn live. It was amazing to see just how many groups have been positively changed because of the dedication of the teams at our local Bendigo branches.
From Bendigo Banks facebook page... "Last night at our Community Impact Night, we drew the winners of the latest Bayside Community Fund Community Raffle, with a total of $30,000 in prizes up for grabs, proudly sponsored by our Victoria Point & Wynnum Manly Community Bank branches.
Congratulations to the lucky winners:

And... drum roll...... a total of $107, 650 was raised from ticket sales!
This brings the total raised through the past 3 Community Raffles to a whopping $368,000+
While there was plenty of excitement to be shared, the real impact of the Community Raffle goes far beyond the prizes. Every ticket sold helped local community organisations raise funds to continue the incredible work they do across the Redlands and Bayside.
Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, sold a ticket, volunteered their time or supported a participating organisation. Together, you've helped turn a raffle into real community impact.
Congratulations again to all of our winners and participating organisations!"
Then they surprised us with the news that Bendigo Bank Wynnum/Manly is having a change of location, now they will be up on Tingal Road where the old Pizza Hut used to be! Much more central and easy to find 9quicker walk from the train station too). And our Vicky Point branch will be getting a facelift this year. We love supporting a bank that supports us back. Bring on the next community raffle and maybe one of our tickets sold will be the first prize winner.
